Rumors are swirling over where Prince William and Kate Middleton will spend their honeymoon. It's gotten so crazy, the royal obsessed are now even placing bets on where the two may go.

The Greek island of Corfu has joined other hot spots as a possible honeymoon destination for the royal newlyweds. It certainly has the three ingredients needed to make a honeymoon work: romance, romance and romance!

The Greeks have been entertaining royal visitors for centuries. And lovers have dipped their toes in the wine dark Mediterranean Sea since the days of Cleopatra and Mark Anthony.

The British royal connection to the islands goes back decades.

British newspapers point to Corfu as the honeymoon destination for its natural beauty, elegance and privacy.

"I'm sure they will be choosing a private yacht or something by the sea," Corfu resident Natascha Pandi said.

In London's betting shops, the favored destination is Kenya with Corfu a close second.

"Certainly that's the big mover," Rupert Adams with William Bill Betting agency said. "If I was going to have a bet myself, I might be tempted to bet Corfu."
